“Kimberly S. Corban is a Colorado mother, advocate, and survivor of rape. As a 20-year-old college student, Kimberly was heinously victimized by a stranger who broke in to her college apartment, held her for two hours, and raped her. She immediately reported the crime and upon her attacker’s capture, jury trial, and guilty conviction, Kimberly chose to release her name to the media. Today, she shares the harrowing details of her story in an effort to educate others on the realities crime victims face on college campus, speaks to legislatures, and teaches various groups across the country.
Kimberly was placed in the national spotlight in 2016 when she bravely questioned President Barack Obama during CNN’s ‘Guns in America’ Townhall hosted by Anderson Cooper about her Second Amendment right to bear arms.
Kimberly’s advocacy efforts for crime victims over the last decade have continued to change and save lives. This bangle was designed by Kimberly’s parents in partnership with Bourbon & Boweties to honor Kimberly’s unwavering voice in the face of adversity.
Proceeds benefit Kimberly’s work to raise sexual assault awareness across the country. If you would like more information about Kimberly’s story or to request her to speak at your campus or event, please visit http://kimberlycorban.com”
